A MAN from Golborne was a member of a gang which dealt in heroin and crack cocaine, a court heard.
Darren Williams, aged 25, of Sycamore Avenue, Golborne, admitted possessing 41.73 grammes of cannabis resin with intent to supply others.
He was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment at Bolton Crown Court yesterday.
Williams was arrested by police when they raided a house in Bank Street, Platt Bridge, Wigan, and discovered the drugs.
The heroin was found stashed in Suzanne Britton's underwear, the cash in a wallet in the attic and drugs were also seized from the living room.
Britton, aged 31, of Carr Street, Platt Bridge, admitted possessing heroin with intent to supply and supplying Williams with one bag of heroin. Judge Derwin Hope sentenced her to two and a half years in in prison.
Wesley Turton, aged 23, of Cheetham Grove, Worsley Mesnes, Wigan, admitted to possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply. He was sentenced to three and a half years imprisonment.
Williams told police that the cannabis was mainly for personal use but that he would sell to friends to fund his own use.
Britton said most of her customers were family and friends.
