A NEW wine bar will open its doors in Bolton tonight after it was granted a licence by magistrates.
Vogue -- billed as "the place that's going to be the place to be" -- is the latest fashionable nightspot to open on Bradshawgate in recent months.
Magistrates gave the go-ahead to manager David Scott yesterday at the monthly licensing hearing.
An application for a licence for another bar, McCauleys, at 77-83 Bradshawgate, was adjourned until the next session on May 7.
Magistrates will also make a decision next month on a licence for the proposed Pot Black Club which will be based on the first and second floors above 22 Bradshawgate.
During yesterday's, magistrates granted a late licence to Paul Drury, the licensee of Irish pub Maloney's in Nelson Square.
The bar can now open until 2am from Monday to Saturday and until 12.30am on Sundays, or 2am on Sundays preceding a bank holiday.
And William Borrowdale, licensee of the Dali Bar, was also given permission to open until 1am on an extra night, Tuesday.
