A SCHOOL non-uniform day has raised hundreds of pounds for a charity marathon run.
Nicky Pope, a member of the legal services department at Bolton Council, is running the London Marathon in aid of Oxfam and hopes to raise at least £2,000.
Turton High School Media Arts College in Bromley Cross Road have donated £700 from a non-uniform day to help Nicky achieve her goal.
Nicky came to speak to Year 7 students in assembly about the work of Oxfam and to receive the cheque.
