TRANSPORT police have released a description of a teeanger found dead on a railway line in Kearsley in an attempt to identify him.
The youth, who had no personal documents with him, was discovered at about 6.30am yesterday about a mile south of Kearsley.
He was discovered by the driver of the Manchester Airport to Southport train.
Officers from British Transport Police attended the scene and launched an investigation.
The youth was white, of thin build, believed to be in his mid teens, with short ginger hair, grey/blue eyes with no visible marks or scars.
He was wearing a beige RFS Rapidfire jumper with a horizontal white line across the chest; a black & blue Nike T-shirt; a dark blue George jeans; chequered Calvin Klein boxer shorts; a Dark-Star black belt with logo on the buckle; black US Athletic socks; and blue and white Adidas trainers.
No identification documents were found on the body and inquiries are still on going.
