DJ Sara Cox took a teacher to task for sending her a letter riddled with spelling mistakes.
The Bolton star received a letter from Smithills School PE teacher Jason Nash thanking her for meeting his pupils during the Radio One On The Road event last weekend.
But the note contained two mistakes -- apprication instead of appreciation and siut for suit -- and Sara read them out on air to shame him.
She told listeners: "I know he's a PE teacher and not an English teacher but it's coming to something when a teacher can't spell."
The Radio One celebrity returned to Bolton for two days last weekend and invited pupils from Smithills to watch her present her show from the Life Bar Cafe, in Nelson Square, Bolton.
Mr Nash said: "I typed up the note quickly. I meant to do a spell check but I didn't have time. I sent it off without reading it."
He has taken it in good humour, however. "I'm sure she didn't mean any offence," he said.
