A GOOD neighbour who quietly cares for others steps into the spotlight for a change.
Mrs Lena Dawson from Bolton was nominated for the Bolton Evening News' Bouquet of the Week by Mrs E Holden.
"Lena has helped me so much for quite a long time," writes Mrs Holden. "I am over 80 years old and disabled so I need someone when I have to go out, for hospital appointments etc.
"I have just had the decorators in and Lena has helped me to move things. She also has three grandchildren and she is always there for them, babysitting, picking them up from school.
"Lena also gives a helping hand to her neighbours when they are not well. She is such a very kind and loving person and she would be so happy to receive one of your beautiful bouquets."
Mrs Dawson was indeed delighted with the bouquet, courtesy of Caroline Ward's flower and gift delivery service (0800-289-335).
