Peter Kay fans Justin Wild and Steve Yarwood made a pilgrimage to Bolton this week -- to visit the site of their favourite TV programme.
The two friends travelled from their homes in Rochdale and Blackley to St Gregory's Social Club, Farnworth, home of the hit Channel 4 series Phoenix Nights.
Justin, aged 30, and Steve, aged 40, have been massive Phoenix Nights fans ever since the show first graced our screens.
Justin contacted the club and asked if it would be possible to have a look around. He even took his own flower vase to drink out of, like Peter's TV character Brian Potter.
He said: "I explained that Steve and I were massive Phoenix Nights fans and asked if it would be possible to come down to the club. The man, called Roy, was very inviting and said that we were welcome to come to the club.
"As we approached, the entrance was instantly recognisable as the place where the club's bouncers Max and Paddy held their thought-provoking doorstep discussions and as soon as we walked through the door, we started laughing as scenes from the show immediately sprang to mind.
"The more we walked around the club, the louder our laughter became. The staff were very pleasant and made us welcome."
He added: "It was a joy and an honour to finally have been to the place where Peter Kay and the gang have given so many people endless laughter."
