A MAN has been arrested in connection with the dressing room theft of Peter Kay's video camera and mobile phone at Bolton's Albert Halls.
The 29-year-old comedian was furious when, just 10 minutes into his act on the second night of his Bolton shows, his dressing room was raided.
The camera's memory card contained images filmed backstage at venues across the country, which Peter intended to use as material on a DVD of his live tour.
He discovered the theft during the interval of last Tuesday's show.
Phoenix Nights star Peter added: "I have played 141 nights all over the country and I just can't believe that now I return to my home town I have my stuff stolen."
Today, police revealed that a 30-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of burglary. The man, who was not named but is from The Haulgh, was arrested on Saturday. He was questioned at Astley Bridge Police Station and released on police bail without charge pending further investigations.
The Bolton Evening News printed CCTV images of a man seen inside the Albert Halls at the time the items went missing.
