BURY Under 15s are the Greater Manchester Schools' League champions.
The youngsters deservedly clinched the title when they beat Wigan 4-1 in their penultimate league match at Derby School.
Lee Bruce opened the scoring after just four minutes and was on target again to hand Bury a 2-0 half-time lead.
Bruce went on to clinch his hat-trick three minutes after the restart and Mark Priestley grabbed the fourth with a marvellous 25-yard strike.
Bolton Under 15s were not so fortunate, going down 4-2 to Manchester in their league match at Sharples School.
Bolton went 2-1 in front thanks to goals from James Molineux and McGuinness but Manchester capitalised on a poor second half performance to clinch a 4-2 win.
Bolton U14s, third-placed in their division, finished their league programme with a 1-1 draw against Salford at Broughton.
Adam Starkey scored their goal after 25 minutes.
But Salford claimed a share of the points when Richard Dunn fired home just before the break.
