LEIGH RMI Ladies became only the second team to win at Frodsham outfit Castle Park Rangers this season with a hard-fought 4-2 success.
It was Leigh who made the breakthrough early in the first half, through Louise Sumner.
Early in the second period, RMI fatally relaxed to allow Rangers to score with a fantastic effort from outside the box and a goalmouth scramble then led to the home side's second.
But Leigh's quality soon told, with Sumner completing her hat-trick before Joanne Wood cemented the victory by finding the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Final score 4-2. Leigh coped well with a depleted side against tough opposition to take them third in the league with games in hand on the leaders. Any new players welcome and should contact Mick on 07930 264673.
