PAUL Warhurst ended a five year scoring famine last night when his goal helped Stoke City to a 2-0 win over Rotherham United.
The midfield player, who is on loan with the Potteries' club until the end of the season, struck in the 21st minute of the First Division clash when he scored his temporary club's opening goal at the Britannia Stadium.
The former Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday man, who left the Reebok on transfer deadline day, played over 100 games for Wanderers following his move from Crystal Palace but never found the net.
