THE late Sir Matt Busby is still the top FA Cup coach of the modern era, according to a study.
The Old Trafford legend steered United to 61 wins in the FA Cup. Former Liverpool boss Bill Shankley is second with 49 wins.
Current United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has 47 and former Everton boss Harry Catterick is fifth with 43 wins.
The study was carried out by fast food chain McDonald's which is the FA's "community partner".
