THE launch of the second film has sparked a major revival of all the Harry Potter books.
But Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is leading the way as the most popular book in the series at the moment. Figures announced showed it was the single most popular borrowed book in the libraries throughout the UK. The second book in JK Rowling's popular series was taken out more than half-a-million times in the last year. Gillian Hill, principal library assistant at Bolton Central Library, said: "All the books have been flying off the shelves and they are all really worn out. We have had to replace them several times. It is not just children asking us for the books, adults want to read them as well." BBC Radio Four have recently launched the search for the UK's best loved book. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is due out on June 21.
