IT is time to go to the polls again to elect local councillors.
Some people have voiced their disappointment as to their councillor's contribution to their community over the years, and, as a resident of the Harper Green Estate, I and my family would echo that disappointment. This estate has seriously deteriorated, it is going to the dogs.
If the councillor who is up for re-election this time thinks he has our vote, he can think again, and that also goes for the other two councillors who will want re-electing in the years to come.
The Harper Green Estate was said to be at one time the "Jewel in the Crown of Farnworth Council", and then Farnworth came under the control of Bolton Council, and things have never been the same since.
