I AM writing in reply to the letter sent by Olga Gee from Bury, in reference to Halaal meat.
Every single Muslim person on this planet is guided in life through God's (Allah) word, as stated in the Holy Koran. Only by following these instructions in the Holy Koran will mankind gain real success in this life, and the life hereafter.
Just as there are rules and regulations laid down for each task, there are also rules for slaughtering of permissible animals.
I have witnessed in which way animals are stunned, by means of a single shot. This is no way an instant death, the animal is paralysed and will then suffer an agonisingly slow, painful death.
Whereas, if the slaughtering is conducted in the method stated in the Holy Koran, Halaal Method, the animal would have its throat cut in a very efficient manner. This sharp cut severs the main blood supply, resulting in an instant death. This would all be carried out in a controlled environment by a trained Muslim professional, who is well versed in the Koranic etiquettes.
Whether you are a Muslim, Christian or Hindu, in God's eyes we are all equal, and all faiths should be respected and not offended.
I, or any other Muslim person, are definitely not hypocrites!
