BURY'S smallest permanent library, the popular facility in Ainsworth, is back -- and now it's better than ever before.
A major facelift and refurbishment means that local villagers will now be able to enjoy the community library more than ever.
The building, which was officially re-opened on Friday has been completely re-vamped with new windows and doors.
It has also been redecorated, with modern beech shelving installed.
All the old library stock has been replaced and two public access computers with Internet Broadband connections will be installed.
A third PC for staff use will also be available.
In addition to all that, extra material to support children and young adults with schoolwork has been introduced and a homework club is planned.
For older users, regular afternoon tea and talk sessions are now being scheduled.
