PUPILS at a Bolton primary school are hoping to boost their brain power by drinking more water.
And when children at Crompton Fold Primary School return after the Easter holidays, they will be encouraged by a donation of more than 300 water bottles.
Health products company HealthSure donated the water bottles to the school -- in Poulton Avenue, Breightmet -- as part of an initiative designed to encourage children to drink more water. Each child has been handed a bottle to keep on their desk and drink during the school day.
Scientific research has shown children respond better to simple tasks if they have regular access to water, and can concentrate for greater periods of time if they are fully hydrated.
