YOUNG people in Clifton will soon be able to enjoy a new skate-park.
Finishing touches are being put on the custom-built facility which will be opened on Saturday, April 26 at 11.30am.
Local resident Barry Warner will officially launch the skate-park. He said: "We are over the moon with the results and look forward to local youngsters making the most of this facility."
The youth facilities have been jointly funded by Groundwork Trust Salford and Trafford along with Salford City Council.
Funding for the project was secured due to Clifton being within 10 miles of a landfill site.
