WORK on the £100m health project described as Britain's biggest-ever scheme to improve health and social care is due to start in the Autumn.
The Manchester, Salford and Trafford Local Improvement Finance Trust (Lift) is a partnership between the public and private sectors.
They have now chosen Excellcare Ltd to begin the 20-year improvement plans.
The first phase of developments will include health and social care centres in Wythenshawe, Swinton and Partington.
