RYANAIR, Europe's largest low fares airline, has announced extra trips on Saturdays between June and October on its popular Dublin to Blackpool route.
Ryanair's Annette McGarry, said: "Things are just getting better and better for Blackpool Airport and for the whole North-west region.
"This announcement equates to an additional 5,000 seats and, during the peak summer months, we will have no trouble filling them with tourists all wanting to get a slice of the Blackpool action."
To mark the increase in demand, the fare is being reduced to £9.99 one way, including tax, for both Dublin and London Stansted.
