MARCO Players have aimed to choose plays which suit all tastes for their 2003-4 season.
They start with The Revengers' Comedies in June this year. Directed by Alan McPherson this will be the first time this play has been performed in Bolton.
It is also a play in two parts with part one being shown on one night and part two on the following night. They will also be performing the whole play on two consecutive Saturdays.
Clearly Marco like a challenge. In November they present the classic Alfie by Bolton playwright Bill Naughton. Again, Alan McPherson will direct.
In February 2004 They will be performing Are You Being Served directed by Peter Haslam. This play follows the staff from the Grace Brothers store as they prepare for their Spanish holiday. All your favourite characters are in it from Mrs Slocome to Mr Humphries.
In June 2004 they present another timeless classic "Blithe Spirit" directed by Jason Crompton.
They finish off in November 2004 with Oh What a Lovely War again directed by Alan McPherson. This play with music is something a bit different for the Marco.
