BOLTON'S Albert Halls was packed to the rafters for a colourful charity concert.
The gala was organised by Bolton's Hindu Forum to raise money for the Bolton Evening News-backed Coronary Care Appeal.
Bolton artists and others from across the North west performed traditional and cultural dances.
A variety of musical styles -- from Bangra to Bollywood -- also featured before guests were asked to dig deep into their pockets to boost the fund.
Bolton's Mayor, Cllr John Walsh, was also on hand to thank all those who donated.
The Coronary Care Appeal hopes to raise £1.3 million to boost the facilities at the Royal Bolton Hospital's Coronary Care Unit, including buying 10 new care beds.
Bolton has one of the worst heart disease records in the country with 51 deaths per 100,000, compared with 22 per 100,000 in Kent.
