PER Frandsen reflected on a gutsy 0-0 draw against Blackburn Rovers, then pointed to the Arsenal visit to the Reebok on Saturday which could see Wanderers cement a third successive season in the Premiership.
With West Ham bouncing back from Saturday's Reebok defeat to beat Middlesbrough, Wanderers saw their lead cut from six points to four but they were in buoyant mood as they made the short trip home. With only three games to play, the Hammers have it all to do.
"We knew West Ham were going to beat Middlesbrough," Frandsen said after a non-stop performance against his former club. "So it was a very important point for us.
"We are definitely in the best position now. We've been confident all the time but now we aren't giving goals away and I think we can give Arsenal a very good game.
"It will be difficult, but we are confident of playing well at home - we've won the last three games - and we always seem to play well against the top teams."
With Wanderers having already denied Manchester United five vital points in the Premiership title race, a repeat performance against the Gunners - the teams drew at Highbury earlier in the season - would present an unlikely scenario for Wanderers fans of their team presenting their hated rivals with a golden opportunity of almost certainly clinching the title!
