TWO North-west MPs are calling on football's governing bodies to spend more of the game's millions at grass roots level.
James Purnell, MP for Stalybridge and Hyde, and Andy Burnham, MP for Leigh, have tabled a Commons Early Day Motion. The Football Foundation recently revealed pitches in Greater Manchester are among the worst in the UK.
