FOOD giant Heinz have agreed to suspend advertising its cans of tomato soup in a row over how healthy they are.
The Wigan-based company have claimed their soup is equivalent to two of the five daily recommended portions of fruit and vegetables.
But the Advertising Standards Authority say new guidelines mean a tin of tomato soup is only worth one portion. Heinz now say they will wait for clarification from the Department of Health .
