HAIL the goal stars of Jolly Waggoner and Greenwood, who each fired eight goals without reply past their hapless opponents in division one of the Bolton Sunday League.
Waggoner won away at Cherry Tree Park with Kev Warrington leading the way with four goals while Paul Roscoe added two with one each from GlennJackson and Nathan Peachey.
Greenwood's win came at the expense of Greenfield, Steve Gaskell hitting a hat-trick and the other remaining goals coming from Robert Williams, Dave Walker, Gary Askew, Matt Wolfenden and Robert Fisher.
Elsewhere, there were nine goals in North West Paper's game with Farnworth Whites. A Tony Harrison hat-trick and one each from Greg Wood and Steve Young earned the Whites a 5-4 win despite Carl Tyldesley (2), James Hall and Warren Quinlan replying for NW Paper.
Bottom Bull and Smithills shared six goals in their draw, Simon Smith, Chris Spackman and Tommy Williams on target for Smithills and James McGreavey, Stewart Cameron and Clint Baxter netting for the Bull.
A James Reynolds hat-trick plus another from Earl Jackson earned Ladybridge a 4-2 win at farmers Arms, Dominic Scales and Chris Baddeley scoring for the losers.
In the Premier Division, Seven Stars, Bolton won 1-0 at Clifton Rangers, but there was a touch of luck as it came from an own goal by Phil French, while Doffcocker were 5-2 winners at Hare and Hounds, Bolton.
