A PHOTOGRAPHER retracing a tragic Arctic expedition has reached the graves of some of the 129 that died.
Martin Hartley, from Manchester, is one of eight following Sir John Franklin's 1845 trek 200 miles from Victory Point to Starvation Cove.
"To think that these men walked the route we are doing in the conditions and the clothes they were wearing back then is quite amazing," he said.
The explorers hope to complete the journey in four weeks.
