ONCE more the front pages of the Bolton Evening News have highlighted yet another attack on a vulnerable and defenceless elderly lady in our society.
How many more times are we going to read of these atrocities? I wonder if anything has been done about what will happen to these thugs when they are caught?
We cannot, and should not, just sit and allow these attackers to get away with a slapped wrist any more.
The people who defend to the hilt the human rights of criminals, without any thought or care for the human rights of innocent victims, have got to be challenged.
The decent, law-abiding majority of the people of this country are fully entitled to the protection of its legal system. It is their right.
The challenge has to come from Members of Parliament and Euro MPs, who help to formulate these laws.
There is something drastically wrong when deserved punishments are blocked on the side of the law-breakers.
I appreciate and commend the Bolton Evening News for its concern and coverage of these outrages.
When politicians ask for your vote, or make sickening speeches, ask them what are they doing about law and order. Even if it is only on behalf of defenceless, elderly people.
