A KNIFEMAN who kidnapped a Bolton businesswoman and forced her to drive to Leeds has been caught on camera.
Detectives are studying video footage of the man who bundled the 46-year-old into her own car as he held a knife at her throat.
He then forced the woman -- who has not been identified -- to drive along the M62.
Officers have obtained CCTV footage of the woman's terrifying journey.
They are also studying cameras in Leeds in a bid to track his movements after he jumped out of the woman's car near the Elland Road Leeds FC stadium.
The woman was abducted at 8.45am as she was unloading her silver BMW estate car outside her office in Chorley New Road, Bolton, on Thursday April 10.
The attacker threatened her with a seven inch long knife and forced her inside her car. She was then ordered to drive off.
Her terrifying journey took 90 minutes in heavy traffic along the motorway.
The man jumped out of the car on the M621 near the football stadium.
The woman, who was shaken but otherwise unhurt, then raised the alarm.
Police in Bolton are liaising with their colleagues in Yorkshire in the hunt for the kidnapper.
The wanted man is said to be of Arabic appearance and in his early 20s. They have released an e-fit of him and described him as "extremely dangerous".
Det Sgt Andy Cunliffe, of Bolton CID, said: "This man showed no hesitation in threatening the victim with a weapon."
A man arrested by police last weekend was released this week without charge.
