SAM Allardyce has warned Wanderers they must play it cagey against Arsenal at the Reebok.

The Whites are ready to take on anybody after conceding just one goal in the last six Premiership games.

But the boss is concerned that they will play straight into Arsenal's hands if they go on all-out attack.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says his side must win at the Reebok to keep the pressure on Manchester United in the title race.

They will be going for goals and Allardyce believes their ruthlessly efficient attacking game will crank up the pressure on the recently impeccable Florent Laville and his fellow defenders.

The game is crucial for Wanderers, who need to keep ahead of West Ham in the fight to avoid relegation. With a four-point advantage and better goal difference than the East Londoners, Wanderers go into the last three games as favourites to stay up for a third successive year.

They could do with a favour from Manchester City who tackle West Ham at Maine Road on Sunday with nothing but pride to play for, but with a fine recent record of seven points and three clean sheets from their last three games.

Wanderers are in the kind of form which requires no favours from anybody, especially at the Reebok which Allardyce is calling their "fortress".

But he knows that could be breached by Arsenal's clinical counter attacking ability if his players do not proceed with extreme caution.

"We have to nullify Arsenal as a unit," he said. "If we go on all out attack we will get picked off at any given moment like Manchester United were by Real Madrid.

"It is important that we choose our time to attack Arsenal. If we attack them too much they will use their quality and pace on the break and we will go one or two goals down and find ourselves asking how did that happen.

"We have to respect them and make sure we get in amongst them, test them and try to spoil their run-in in the championship race.

"We have to get to the same kind of levels we reached against Manchester United to even dream about getting anything out of this game.

"The good thing is that people don't expect us to get anything out of it because that takes a bit of the pressure off us. But even if every one of our players performs to the best of his ability we will only get something out of it if Arsenal are not at their best."
