I AM appalled by the new all white strip for the 2003-04 season.
I think that there should have been consultation with the supporters regarding this. I would remind the club that the last time the navy blue shorts were despatched with, the club were relegated to the old Third Division. This was in the days of Roger Hunt, John Manning and Charlie Hurley!
The first thing that the new manager did (Jimmy Armfield) was to change back to white and blue. He said at the time that Bolton Wanderers "do not play in all white" and he was right.
Sam Allardyce was only a kid when Bolton played in an all white kit, and by the time he made his debut the white and blue colours had been reinstated.
I do not want to see BWFC in "alien colours", what is wrong with white and blue?
This change MUST be opposed.
