I MAY be an exception amongst Bolton supporters but I'd be surprised if most aren't staggered that we're changing our strip.
We're not Leeds Utd or Real Madrid, we're Bolton Wanderers and we play in blue and white. I've read the comments attributed to Gareth Moores and am astonished that comparing moving from Burnden and changing our strip is somehow thought to be comparable as 'breaking with tradition'.
Moving from Burnden was a necessary object of moving forward as a club and a commercial necessity, how is that comprabale with a decision to throw out the birthright which is our club colours. I'm struggling to think of any other club which has done anything remotely similar, even the high priests of commercialism at Old Trafford, Highbury and Anfield haven't contemplated changing their fundamental club colours. The whole thing is ridiculous and an insult to our heritage.
