THE shirt looks like a glorified T-shirt and I don't like the idea of playing in all white. The badge change was bad enough -- why are we never consulted on changes?
Bolton have gone all "Real Madrid" on us, our "traditional" Blue shorts have been replaced -- next year's home kit will be all white! I know I'm not the only one unhappy about this, why were we not consulted on the design -- we are after all the people who will be shelling out for it!
Then again what can we expect from a club who changed the official badge to incorporate childish tassels and then indignantly kept it even when the fans protested. Obviously they don't care about what we think. It wouldn't have taken much to talk to us -- communicate their intentions.
Instead we've been left with a "take it or leave it" scenario, I'm not sure yet which way I will go
During the last few years I've spent extortionate sums of money in the superstore or online, buying products as far ranging as bedspreads and official shirts. Until now I haven't really been bothered by logo adaptations or the revamping of brand identities, but today this has changed.
For as long as I can remember, we've used dark and light contrasts. It's a psychological thing for me, I can't remember us doing too well when we've ditched it.
Apparently Big Sam had the final say, it was basically a flippant comment made in passing 18 months ago. Can we sack him for that!
