FRIDAY saw Bolton Ian Roe back on form beating a consistant Wayne Merrick in the Halliwell Cons final. Losing semis were Shaun Liptrot and Pete Jones.
Sunday saw Mick Bushby win a very close game over Mark Aspinall 3-2, losing semis were Dean Edge and Ken Smith both pushed the winner and runner-up to the last doubles. Diane Lee took best lady prize.
The Halliwell Cony Club and all the competitors of the darts KO wish Wayne Merrick and Paul Williams the very best of luck in the UK Darts Open at the Reebok Stadium.
The Founders Arms Easter Special Knockout was a big success with 28 entries.
A 3-0 win by Wayne Merrick who had all the support of the pub behind him, beating an unlucky Allan Partington. Wayne also won 3-1 against Tony Cross in a high scoring semi, with Allan beating Mick Daniels who still hasn't hit top form yet.
Bolton's Lisa Stephens took Best Lady prize.
