A TEENAGE Wanderers fanatic who has spent most of her life in a wheelchair has had a dream come true.
Anna Tarkowski, 14, of Ambleside Close, has had numerous operations to fit artificial lower limbs at Alder Hey Children's Hospital from being one-year-old.
But her dreams were realised when she met the Wanderers players at a training session at the Reebok stadium.
Anna, a Thornleigh High School pupil, has been an avid Bolton fan for two years, both home and away and sits in the North Stand.
Dad Joseph said: "She had a great day. We saw the players training and then had some photographs taken and had a tour of the ground." EAS brand manager Colin Cassidy, who works for the team's nutritional sponsors who are based in Radcliffe, arranged for Anna to meet her heroes after she met him at the David Lloyd centre, where she plays wheelchair tennis.
He said: "Anna faces more challenges than the average teen, but she is a role model to others because of her enthusiasm and commitment to life, sport and, of course, the mighty Wanderers."
