WANDERERS Scottish Fans have voted Per Frandsen their player of the season.
Per is the second winner of the trophy following on from last year when Kevin Nolan picked up the prize.
Although his goal scoring hasn't been as prolific has it has been in
previous seasons, BWFCScotland member Andy Hall said: "Per has been fantastic
in midfield.
"He's a hard worker and his vision and passing are out of this world. I can't remember the last time he gave the ball away and when he tackles the opponents they tend to stay tackled!'
The Dane just edged Youri Djorkaeff into second place. "It was a close call," says Andy. "The votes were counted before the home game against Arsenal.
"If we'd have held the vote afterwards then Youri might just have sneaked it, but over the season Per has been excellent and thoroughly deserves the award.'
Per will receive he trophy before the last home match of the season against
Middlesborough.
