The firm, founded in 1876, made £23m profit on £203m sales in 2001 and is now worth £150m, according to the Sunday Times Rich List. The paper ranks the family's wealth at £175m. The Warburtons appear at number 180 in the list of wealthy Britons alongside rock legend Sir Mick Jagger. The list also features Bolton businessman Anwar Patel.
