ARSENE Wenger hit out at Sam Allardyce, the referee and what he claimed were dirty tackles which put three of his players out of Saturday's game.
The Arsenal boss accepted a point was all his side deserved despite being 2-0 up and seemingly cruising with 15 minutes remaining.
But there was plenty he was not prepared to accept.
He was critical of Allardyce for urging the referee to be fair to Wanderers in the days leading up to the game.
Was it a clever move by the Bolton boss, he was asked. "It was only clever if it has become clever to be unfair," he answered, adding: "I don't go along with that.
"There was undue pressure put on the referee and he has shown he doesn't deal well with it."
Wenger also criticised the tackles which resulted in Lauren, Fredrik Ljungberg and Pascal Cygan limping out of the game and facing a possible lengthy spell on the sidelines.
"They were put out by bad tackles," said the Arsenal boss. "They could be out for a while.
"We will know more about the extent of their injuries in the next day or so.
"At the moment Lauren and Ljungberg are the most serious. Cygan has a calf injury but we have some good centre backs at the club."
Not only are the alarm bells ringing for Wenger in the title race but the Reebok fire alarm went off when he was supposed to attend the after-match press conference and he got straight on the team bus instead.
He is facing a defensive crisis going into the weekend as Sol Campbell starts a four-match ban. But he remains defiant that Arsenal's powers of recovery mean the title race will go to the wire.
While furious at the lack of commitment shown by his team, he maintains that with three games remaining they can still overtake Manchester United and regain their crown.
"We will recover from this," he said.
"Things can change very quickly in football. What is dark today can be bright tomorrow.
"It is not in our hands and we need some good results. It is still open but it is not in our hands.
"I don't think the pressure is telling. It was a lack of concentration on the first and second goals. We should not have conceded those goals.
"Both came from set pieces and it is hard to accept conceding goals like that.
"But that's part of the game and I think we want to focus on us and do the maximum we can until the end of the season.
"I am disappointed to be 2-0 up and then finish as we did. With 15 minutes to go we looked safe and should have been secure.
"I don't know what went wrong. Not a lot. We scored two but did not find the fluency we have had. At 2-1 we were under pressure.
"At the moment we lack a bit of freshness. Maybe we just want to do the minimum to win games. A point is what we deserved to get from the game.
"I have no complaints. We wanted to win and we have a point."
Arsenal entertain Leeds next Sunday then travel to Southampton before wrapping up their league campaign at relegated Sunderland.
