MANY of Lancashire's key professionals are becoming increasingly unhappy in their jobs according to a new survey.
The research, carried out among more than 300 local finance professionals by specialist recruitment consultancy Robert Half Finance & Accounting and Accountancy Age magazine, found that as many as one-third felt employers were failing to match their expectations and, despite difficult economic conditions, two out of three were looking to move jobs.
Steve Carter, managing director of Robert Half Finance & Accounting, said: "Less than one in five said that they were unhappy with their pay. The major areas of dissatisfaction were training and career progression where as many as a third of respondents voiced complaints. A quarter went as far as saying that their career prospects with their employer were poor."
