DESPITE his side's lowly position Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce says confidence is high ahead of the trip to St Mary's on Saturday tea-time.

"After coming back from 2-0 down against Arsenal the players will think they are unbeatable.

"Their effort and commitment shook Arsenal and they smelt Arsenal were rocking before we got back into the game.

"If we can match that level of performance against Southampton then we should get something out of the game."
