CHORLEY galloped to a 10 wicket win to beat both Leyland Motors and the rain with victory wrapped up before most of the football final whistles.
Professional Stephen John led the onslaught after missing Chorley's opening day defeat due to visa problems.
Playing against his former club, John returned an impressive 6-28 as the visitors were hustled out for a meagre 84 from 27 overs, only Rounding and Lilley reached double figures in Motors brief innings.
Chorley made light of their target with Smith following his magnificent century seven days earlier, with another fine knock. Mawdesley too was in splendid touch and they ensured the Motors bowler enjoyed no success.
Smith cracked seven boundaries in his unbeaten 37.
