A WOMAN was stunned when she saw a man leaning into her parked car and calmly detaching the £600 car radio with a screwdriver, a court heard.
Her boyfriend went after Adrian Fleming-Patel who threw the radio at him, Rochdale magistrates were told.
Fleming-Patel, aged 25, of The Meadows, Prestwich, Bury, had admitted stealing the radio belonging to Miss Karen Frost and the case had been previously adjourned for reports. He was given an 18-month community rehabilitation order with a requirement to attend the probation service's "Think First" programme and to pay £400 compensation.
Fleming-Patel admitted the theft but denied aiming to hit the witness. He claimed he threw the radio back to return it.
