MADONNA has one, so does John Travolta -- and now 11-year-old Andrew Potter has his own personal trainer.
But the youngster is not wroking out for the latest blockbuster movie -- he is getting fit for the karting track.
And it could soon be a case of move over Schumacher.
Andrew may not be into Formala One yet, but he is on the ladder -- taking part in this year's National Kart Championships.
The Westhoughton High School pupil is one of the youngest drivers in the Championships, competing against teenagers aged up to 16.
And now he is the envy of his karting pals as he has his own personal trainer.
The youngsters started his love of the sport as a four-year-old when his parents Ken and Susan bought him a toy pedal kart.
By eight he was competing in races.
"He loves it and our philosophy is as long as its is fun and he enjoys it, we are happy," said Mr Potter, who acts as mechanic.
The whole family are now involved with Andrew's hobby and this weekend they will be heading off to Kent for another round in the Championships.
At the weekend Andrew proved he was a real trooper when he was knocked off the circuit at Bryn near Wigan, by a team mate whose brakes failed. "He had to have a paramedic to see to his wrist and his kart was damaged. But he got back in and completed the course -- recording the fastest lap of the final," said Mr Potter.
Andrew keeps fit and has his diet monitored by his trainer from Dave Lloyd Fitness and Racquets Club, Manchester. His dad explained that the races in the Championships are longer, and Andrew complained about a stiff arm.
Dave Lloyd offered their services and now he visits trainer Dave Alstead regularly. He said: "It is a pleasure to see the enjoyment Andrew gets from improving his fitness levels. His attitude and dedication means he is a delight to work with."
Simon Pritchard, the general mananger, said: "We were delighted that Andrew recognised the need to work at the less glamorous yet essential fitness regime required by a sportman who strives for success, whatever his or her, particular discipline."
Mr Potter said Andrew's school had been very supportive about his hobby. "But we make sure he keeps up with his school work," he added.
The 'Super One' national karting Championships is Britain's premier kart series. It has been the nursery for many Formula 1 stars,
including David Couthard.
Mr Potter has set up a website for Andrew at www.ap-racing.co.uk
