Jussi Jaaskelainen, Bernard Mendy and Jermaine Johnson were in action while Henrik Pedersen, Gudni Bergsson and Ricardo Gardner pulled out of their national sides earlier in the week.
Jaaskelainen enjoyed a productive night as he bid to oust Southampton's Antti Niemi from the number one spot for Finland.
The in-form Wanderers' keeper played half a game and kept a clean sheet as Finland went on to beat Iceland 3-0.
He will report back for club duty at the Whites' training ground today while Mendy and Johnson are expected back in Bolton tomorrow.
Both Mendy and Johnson played in goalless draws for France under-21s against Egypt and Jamaica against South Africa.
