A TRAVEL agent has proved she is the best in the business by winning a prestigious award.
Cheryl Smith, a manager at Thomas Cook in Bolton, has scooped 'Leisure Agency Manager of the Year' at the travel industry's Agent Achievement Awards.
Cheryl, who lives in Southport, was selected by ten judges based on a 500-word report, written by Cheryl, and an hour-long interview. She was told by the judges she knew her business extremely well and was an excellent manager.
The awards, which are in their seventh year, were devised to reward professionalism, innovation and achievement in running a successful travel agency.
