BOLTON under 15s won the Lombardy Cup on their tour to Italy during the Easter break.
The town team beat US Lomazzo 2-0, followed it up with an emphatic 11-0 success over Vigor Grandate to reach the final and then clinched the trophy with a 5-1 win against Falopiesee.
Goal hero was Billy McGuinness of Turton, who crowned a magnificent individual performance by scoring four goals while Ben Rooney of Mount St. Joseph's added the other.
Sharples School Under 15s also fared well finishing third after beating Falopiesse 2-1 in the 3rd/4th place play off.
Sharples under 13s had to be satisfied with third spot in their Italian tournament. They finished off their trip with a convincing 2-0 success over SD Turate with Kyle Kambray and Liam Coventry hitting the target.
Bury under 15s have already clinched the league title and are also chasing honours in the North West Alder Cup and they travel to the seaside to take on Blackpool in their semi final clash on Friday.
