CONGRATULATIONS to Sam Allardyce and The Wanderers. Premiership football for next season has been well deserved as they fought a magnificent rearguard action.
This was despite the fact that Man City and Chelsea seemingly rolled over. West Ham gave everything for Glynn Roeder and we hope that both will soon bounce back.
Don Smith (May 10 letter) will have to buy a new crystal ball.
This season has seen an embarrassing lack of goals, which puts extra pressure on the defence.
This leads me to suggest that Wanderers' season would have been down the tubes a while back if it had not been for Bolton's man of the season -- Jussi Jaaskelainen.
