IF Cllr Harkin, who I understand is the town's top environmental expert, wants to change the town's image then he should start by cleaning the town up.
Not only do we experience one of the highest rates of heart and chest complaints in the country, but we also have some of the most deprived areas. Our streets are filthy, with litter and chewing gum and vandalism is virtually out of control.
Cllr Harkin needs to tackle the real issues facing the town if he wants to improve its image.
Incidentally, aren't there a number of other places in the north of England called "Bolton Ie Moors?"
