HOW about Bolton Le Grimy. Or, educate the people who cause it. There are laws in place to penalise the littler louts, use them.
It's not just litter, it's the run down appearance, bad roads and pavements.
At 1.30pm on December 27, I saw a discarded folding bed in Danesbury Road. Earlier in the day among the usual items of cans, bottles (usually glass, often broken) were used nappies and plastic bags of dog poo.
On the same day on Stones Bank Road, Egerton, were discarded rolls and bags of carpet off-cuts, at least two washing machines, bags of rotten food -- whoever does this must have a van or car.
I forgot about three freezers dumped at Belmont near the Blue Lagoon about three months ago. And finally, I must mention the mindless louts who seem to rejoice in smashing glass bus shelters each weekend.
PRIDE! Cllr Harkin. Some of the people of Bolton don't have any, so a change of name won't help.
