PRESTWICH band Blue Chevron has won a place at this years 'YGG Unsigned 2004'.
They will play in the first heat of the competition on Friday, February 6, at The Palace Nightclub in Levenshulme.
It is part of the city's Manchester Irish Festival, now the biggest Irish Festival in Europe. The bands have a chance of winning cash, two days recording time and a professional photo shoot by Rock photographer Karen McBride.
The aim of the event is to provide a showcase for biggest unsigned acts with Irish roots. The final will take place on Friday March 19. For more information, contact the competition Hotline on 0161 225 0706.
